How much does the ridematching service cost?
Ridematching is free! The more commuters in the database, the better the match results. So let your friends, colleagues and employer know about the service. Tell your friends with a free electronic postcard.

How often do I have to carpool?
As often as you like! Every day, once a month or whatever works best for you. Find one or several commute partners to fit in with your own commute routines. Refer to Carpool Gameplan for more ideas about carpooling for the sport of it.

How can I establish commute partnerships with others?
Complete your Basic Commute Profile and Personal Preferences (optional). Registration will enable you to access profiles of other commuters in the Member Area. Click on 'Find Matches Now' to find others who have the same commute. You may contact as many members as you’d like via RideLinks' e-mail forwarding system. Refer to Carpool Gameplan for more ideas about setting up a successful carpool.

Do others have access to my name, phone number, e-mail and home address?
No. Your personal information is entirely confidential. You will be known only by your username. Please read our Privacy Policy and Membership Agreement for further information about your privacy and membership rights.

How do I search for a specific member's profile, and how does my profile appear to other members?
You may search another member's profile by going to 'Show Profile' in the Member Area and entering the user name in the field provided. To see how your profile appears to others, enter your own user name in the field. Other members know you by your user name only. They can see your commute times, destinations, employer and personal preferences.

How do I change my Commute Profile, personal information and email address?
Go to Member Area. Select 'Change My Commute Profile.' You can change your first/last name and basic commute information by clicking on selectable fields. If you need to change your email address, please send a message to support. Please include your old and new email addresses.

How do I change my Personal Profile and Preferences?
Go to Member Area. Select 'Change or Add My Preferences.' Click submit.

What if I forget my user name or password?
Go to the Ridematching home page. Click on the E-mail Password button, and we will e-mail you the information. Still having trouble? Contact us at support.

What do I do if I feel another member is behaving inappropriately?
Please send e-mail to feedback. Describe the situation as fully as possible. Be sure to include the person's username.
